GUIDE IS STILL UNDER SOME REVISING, A FEW MORE DETAILS TO BE ADDED!
Thanks to our member ThunderDome for putting in all this work to get together this guide!
I have just formatted his guide to fit our blog format. Thanks Dome! Guide needs update related to assistant generals that was added, speed are higher now.
Being effective at gathering map resources is key to maximize your RSS gathering. Please follow this guide to gather like a professional!
The key is to get your gathering speed per hour as high as possible.
If you get everything right you can expect the following speeds:
1.9 million RSS per hour in alliance resource. This will give you about 45M RSS in 24 hours!
1.4 million RSS per hour on regular map resource tiles. This will give you about 33M RSS in 24 hours!
Don't worry if you cannot get max numbers right away, it will take time to get everything maximized.
Prepare your gathering generals
You need good gathering generals to make the gathering as effective and fast as possible. It's recommended to have 5 copies of Queen Jindeok however Constance and Lucy are decent and honestly it's gonna depend on how much politics power said general has to be quick at gathering. Not everyone has queen Jindeok, Constance or Lucy. If you are short on specialty generals use what bet you have. Also adding gathering skill books will boost the generals gathering speed.
Give your gathering general three pieces of Kings gear for what your gathering for. I suggest a copy of what you want your general to be gathering for. The right kings gear will give you the speed to gather. Plus you can refine it to what your specializing in ore, lumber, wood or stone.
Make sure BEFORE you get to the tile your general is wearing the Kings gear. Once your in the tile gathering you can change the gear to another gathering general and use it again for speed and you won't lose the speed from the original general. Also, you can add champions gear boots, helm, upper and lower armor and you get the "extra bonus" after you take off the kings gear. The champions gear must stay on until you finish the tile.
Cultivation and research and type of general is key. Make sure you 5 star your gathering generals and keep them leveled high for best results. Take advantage of attacking members subs to level generals for this. Cultivate the most you can 499 or better is best.
Prepare your monarch gear
Before you send your general out to gather make sure you have the correct gear for what your gathering. Once in the tile you can change the monarch gear to something else. It will show your speed go down in the details of the tile however the time remains the same. That is a glitch and you don't lose speed for switching monarch gear for extra speed.
Select the right resource tiles
Make sure the tile you are gathering from is level 12 or better for the 220,00k speed, anything lower level than 12 is 200,000 so your losing speed with anything less than 12.
Make sure you finish the tile, you get a better "extra bonus" for finishing a tile. Also remember that the higher tole level you use the loner you can gather since higher levels tiles contains more RSS than lower levels.
Do the correct research in your academy
Completing the correct research in your academy is also important to get the right gathering boosts.
Check your [Advancement] category and make sure you max out all gathering in this research tree. For example for maxing your wood boosts do:
Bucksaw
Advanced lumbering
Advanced logging
Super lumbering
Super logging.
That's just an example of gathering for lumber, you also need to complete for the other categories like food, ore and stone These categories affect all regular map resource tiles.
To also boost your gathering inside alliance resources you must research another category in your academy. Check your [Alliance] category tree and locate:
Alliance lumbering
Super alliance lumbering
Alliance mining Bonus.
This obviously is only good for whatever we have let it be lumber ore iron etc. Speeds inside alliance perimeters is faster to gather from than regular map tiles!
That's it guys! Please report back if you find anything wrong or you think you have anything t add to make this guide better!
I get 2.6M RSS per hour...
