Prestige: Ranking and How to get more

Updated: Oct 10, 2022

The way the ranking system works can be very confusing but I'm going to attempt to explain it fully here.

First off, the Prestige Rankings 'Resets' every week at 00:00 server time going from Saturday into Sunday. At this time the server takes a 'Snapshot' and saves everyone's prestige for the week. Based off of how much prestige you had at that time your will be ranked against everyone on the server. Ranking determines a few things but the most important effect it has is determining how many Subordinate Cities you can have. You can see your weekly ranking in the 'Rank Ranking' screen. Here you can see how much prestige you had at last weekly reset along with where you and others rank compared to each other. Each rank has limited number of players that may have that rank. So the prestige requirements are not a hard limit as you also have to surpass enough players to fill one of those slots. Only 10 people may be Archduke, then 30 for Duke, 50 for Earl, 80 for Viscount, and 100 for Baron. Everyone else will be Knights if you have at least 5k prestige (assuming there's not more than 5270 people on the server which might be the hard limit for numbers of players on a server now that I think about it.) You can see the benefits of each rank by clicking on them in the "Rank Detail" page; With Subordinate City slots being the most sought after. Now you're probably wondering what are the best ways to obtain prestige. The short answer, boss monsters. Catching every rally you can will give you a good weekly boost to your prestige. Keep in you mind that if it's prestige your after you want to kill more normal bosses than event bosses as event bosses have lower prestige rewards than most normal bosses. If you're alliance doesn't depend on you to run rallies you can port to a spot on the map away from any alliance and hit them solo. please please please do it away from any alliance that might be wanting to hit those bosses, near the temples tend to be the best place. With 5 marches you can accumulate upwards of 300k prestige in one week just soloing bosses. The other way to get prestige is via offering in the Shrine. The most efficient way to get prestige is to save up Tributes that you get from the Black Market and from buying them with your Alliance Shop. "Why save them up and not just use them as you get them?" you ask. Well because the gem price of tributes starts low and increases every few offerings until it hits 1500 gems each. Simply save your Tributes, change culture to Arabic (5% boost to prestige from shrine) then use gems to get to the point of 1500 gems each. THEN use all the tributes you have saved up. This means you are getting the value of 1500 gems per Tribute!
